The difference between Sarsaparilla and Root Beer:

Originally, both sarsaparilla and root beer were produced by native Americans. Both were considered tonics.

At first, sarsaparilla was made from the root of the sarsaparilla vine while root beer was produced from the roots of the sassafras tree.

Today, both have very similar tastes with sarsaparilla having a slight smoky hint. Overall, you will discover that Earp’s Sarsaparilla is less sweet than most of today’s root beers making Earp’s absolutely perfect for ice cream floats.

Earp’s is outselling regular root beers and is a TOP SELLER.

You’re gonna like it for certain!

After a hard day of gun fight’n, NOTHING beats a real sarsaparilla. This American classic has a rich velvety sarsaparilla flavor with a touch of smoke. It’s fierce enough to rival even the meanest, darndest bandits in the seedy saloons of the great yonder. Made with pure cane sugar and bottled in a long neck glass bottle. Made fresh every month in our facility in Mukilteo, WA.

Here are a couple of lesser known facts:

  • Hollywood has produced over 20 feature movies revolving around the Gun Fight at The O.K. Corral.
  • Famous Western actor John Wayne knew Wyatt Earp and palled around with him on movie sets in Hollywood. John adopted many of Wyatt’s mannerisms including ways of speaking.
